Des-concierto 9 · The Banquet takes as its starting point the text of the same name by Platon, to present reflections about art, its representation, the "real" image, the "hyperereal" and its tensions. In addition, he is interested in the idea that suggests a banquet as an event.The work takes place in four acts. The first, "Ah! Hondas ganas ", is a ritual song where lyrical singers participate, who project erotic sounds accompanied by the interpretation of unique musical instruments, designed by the artist. This scene takes place in a courtyard on which a kind of Zen garden with sand has been drawn. The second, "I wanted to forget the gray," is made up of a set of canvases, arranged in different places of space, so that each one constitutes a fragment of the landscape. The route, as a 360º route, has as a central figure a triptych that represents a lagoon. The third, "El Banquete", takes place in a closed room. The viewer can only hear the sound of what goes on inside and see the light that is projected below the door. Meanwhile, in another room, he can watch the video projection of what happens inside, but in silence. And finally, the fourth act, "Invisible sound to awaken Plato", is about an installation.
